Micro Center Knowledge Bar is an Authorized Service Provider (ASP) for most of the brands of desktops and laptops we sell. If your computer manufacturer does not have an Authorized Service Provider program we will most likely still be able to assist in getting your system to them for repair.

Each warranty period will vary dependent upon the manufacturer and the computer or laptop. Please refer to the documentation that usually provided within the computer packaging, or the manufacturer’s website.

If you bring in your computer or laptop for warranty repairs, our services include:

• Same day diagnostics testing of the computer to determine the root cause of the failure or malfunction
• Purchase and shipping of authorized computer parts. Shipping times vary from overnight to ground shipments depending upon the vendor and part needed
• We also offer additional data backup services, to ensure your documents and media files can be recovered and transferred to a new storage device.

If you opt for additional data recovery or data backup services, the repair time may be extended, depending on how much data and the health of the storage device.
